The purpose of these Best Practice Reports is to provide professional staff and consumers with up-to-date information on a wide range of topics and
issues. Because of their heavy work responsibilities and lack of access to libraries and professional literature, professional staff often are not aware
of current research findings on the effectiveness of various models and approaches to working with children with Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED).
Likewise, consumers are in need of the latest information about evidence-based best practices in order to best find services for their children.
