Position Announcement - The University of Kansas, School of Social
Welfare is seeking applicants for its lecturer pool beginning Spring Semester
2006. As part of KU, a nationally recognized Research I university, the School
of Social Welfare strives to maintain a balance among research, teaching, and
service at the local, state, and national levels. The School of Social Welfare
is one of the top 14 schools of social work in the country. In addition to
social work programming at three locations in Lawrence and Kansas City, the
School supports a viable infrastructure for research and training with specific
centers that focus on aging and long term care, adult mental health, child
welfare, children’s mental health, social policy, and community development.

however, the start date is negotiable. As part of KU, a nationally recognized
Public, Research University, the School of Social Welfare emphasizes excellence
