   Residency

Students are classified as resident or nonresident based on information provided on the application for admission. The determination of residency status is made by the Office of the University Registrar in accordance with Kansas regulations. If you have questions about your residency status, contact the Office of the University Registrar at (785) 864-4472 or visit their web site.

Starting in 2012, students on the Edwards Campus who are documented residents of Bates, Buchanan, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Henry, Jackson, Johnson, Lafayette, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri are eligible for resident tuition. As with all students the determination of residency status is made by the Office of the University Registrar.
