As part of the 40 continuing education units required for each renewal cycle, each applicant for renewal or reinstatement of a license must complete a program on professional ethics consisting of at least three units.

 

Look for the (®®) preceding courses that earn diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders credit!

As part of the 40 continuing education units required for each renewal cycle, each applicant for renewal or reinstatement of a license as a master social worker must complete at least six units of continuing education related to the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders.

Social Work Overseas
Summer Seminars

The School of Social Welfare is sponsoring social work experience to give a general perspective on Social Work and Social Services Internationally.

Some of the activities organized to accomplish this objective are lectures and field trips to communities, hospitals, schools and agencies where social services are provided.

Costs include 3.0 hours tuition (45 CEUs) including Diagnosis and Treatment and Ethics training + travel expenses.
