Phi Alpha Honor Society

The University of Kansas School of Social Welfare hosts the Mu Psi Chapter of Phi Alpha, the national social work honor society. In order to be eligible for membership, BSW students must:

  • be admitted to the BSW program;
  • be at least a sophomore;
  • have completed 8 semester hours of required social work courses;
  • have an overall grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale; AND
  • have a 3.25 grade point average in required social work courses.
